Together with an in-house team of editors and project managers, our key staff work hard in order to produce market-leading translations for organisations in the UK, Europe, Australia and beyond.
We are here to provide you with outstanding client service and one of the keys to this is our relationship with you. Our staff are always happy to talk about your language projects, regardless of the size.
These are some of the people who you will deal with on a day-to-day basis:
David Salter – Director
David is the founder and a director of Linguistico. A qualified lawyer in Australia and the UK, he combines his love of languages with a clear understanding of our client industries.
As a fluent French speaker, David well understands the vagaries of translation and works closely with our teams in order to ensure that every piece of work produced by Linguistico is well written, precise and can be used by our clients immediately.
David has worked in a number of large law firms, most recently at Allens Arthur Robinson in Sydney (now Allens >< Linklaters) where he was a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, working predominantly on insurance and reinsurance matters.
In his spare time, David loves spending time with family and friends, as well as surfing, playing the guitar, learning Mandarin and eating pizza. He is also a keen supporter of ChildFund Australia.
Jacqueline Ramsay-Golimowski – Senior Legal Editor / Translation Project Manager
Having trained and worked for a number of years at Blake Dawson, a top-tier law firm in Australia (now Ashursts), Jacqueline moved to Europe in order to spread her linguistic and cultural wings. Spending a number of years in Paris, she obtained near-fluency in French before deciding to move to Hamburg, where she is studying a Masters of European Studies. Jacqueline helps to run many of our complex legal translation projects and clients appreciate her knowledge of the law and the legal industry.
Jacqueline is a keen tennis player and also regularly takes advantage of many of Hamburg’s beautiful cycle paths.
Adrienne Sycamore – Director (Asia Pacific)
Adrienne is a director of Linguistico and joined soon after inception. Adrienne brings over 10 years of project management experience, together with finely tuned operational and leadership skills. She comes from a projects-based background and has previously worked for a major investment bank and a “Big Four” accounting firm.
Adrienne prides herself on delivering exceptional results for and developing firm relationships with our key clients. She is responsible for supervising all project management and client management and works alongside Linguisitico’s key clients to ensure that their translation projects run smoothly from start to finish.
During her time with Linguistico, Adrienne has effortlessly worked her way through the most complex of projects and delivered results far in excess of our clients’ expectations. Clients cite Adrienne’s project management and communication skills as outstanding, thorough and responsive.
Adrienne is currently training for the Sydney Marathon and in her quiet time, learning Italian. She loves nothing more than coming up with unique business ideas.
Alison Cairns – Senior Legal Editor
Alison has worked in law firms in Sydney, London and Paris (where she was an Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer). A fluent French speaker, Alison works closely with our legal translators to help produce outstanding work.
Having been on both sides of the fence as a practising lawyer and as a French legal translator, Alison understands both client and translator needs. With such extensive knowledge and experience, she is a very valuable member of the team.
Alison holds a Graduate Diploma in Law, specialising in IPCT. She also has a passion for travel which has taken her overland from London to Hong Kong, up a river to Timbuktu and up a mountain to Everest base camp.
Claire Forster – Senior Legal Editor / Project Manager
Claire is an Australian qualified lawyer. She was most recently a Senior Associate in a top-tier Australian firm prior to joining Linguistico. Claire’s knowledge of varied legal disciplines and concepts is essential to her editing work. In addition to her legal knowledge, Claire assists with the most important aspects of quality control – with incredible levels of attention to detail acquired during her time in legal practice.
Based in Paris, Claire also works with some of our European clients and is an integral part of our European strategy following the opening of our European office in 2010.
Claire also loves outdoor pursuits including mountain biking, hiking and snowboarding.
Anna Hopley – Senior Legal Editor
Anna is an Australian and New Zealand qualified lawyer with over 8 years experience handling complex commercial and insurance disputes. She has most recently combined motherhood with the completion of a Master of International Law degree at the University of Sydney. Prior to this Anna was a Senior Associate in a large Australian firm.
Having worked in law firms and in-house positions in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, Anna understands the commercial imperatives of Linguistico’s clients and she enjoys applying her technical legal skills to her legal editing work.
When not editing Anna can be found enjoying the coastal walks and parks around Sydney with her family.
